Mission Statement

In obedience to the Great Commission (text: Matthew 28:19-20) given to us by the founder of the church (Jesus Christ) Mount Carmel Baptist Church seeks excellence in the ministry by evangelizing all persons to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives educating all Christians to grow into the likeness of Christ through the aid of the Holy Spirit and by employing all members of Mt. Carmel in personally extending the message and mission of God's love in Christ, throughout the world. It is our goal to equip each member with the message that brings about both salvation and liberation to a lost world. We believe that the Word of God is the source of healing and Good News for those who are broken and battered by a world of distress and despair. We strive to nurture one another toward maturity in Christ through obedience to the Word of God, and to impact the world by displaying and declaring the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ.
