Naturally Homegrown Farm

12033 Yoder Road

Each week we'll pack a container with an assortment of fresh vegetables, ready for you to pick up on your predetermined day. We harvest our produce that day, or the day before. Exceptions are crops that need to be cured or dried after harvesting, such as onions, garlic, and winter squashes. A CSA share of our produce is an adventure for the taste buds, because the assortment will change weekly throughout the season, depending upon what is ripe and ready.

Welcome to Naturally Homegrown Farm. We are growers of vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Our goal is to take care of our soil so we can grow nutritious vegetables with optimum taste. We do this by using safe, common sense farming methods. We farm similarly to the traditional ways of the past, along with using the horticultural knowledge and wisdom available today. We use crop rotation, cover crops, and compost to raise our soil's organic matter content and improve soil fertility. We use mulches to conserve moisture and keep weeds under control. We use drip irrigation to efficiently water the majority of our crops. We use soil tests to determine what to feed our soil and our crops. We use organic and conventional plant foods as needed, depending on the crop being grown.
