In keeping with the mission of unity of the Sisters of St. Joseph and Nazareth Academy, service to others is an integral part of our school community. While our minimum graduation requirement is 20 hours of community service, students have ongoing opportunities to volunteer and are encouraged to do so. Our full-time Campus Minister oversees the volunteer elementary tutoring program, joint programs between our students and retirement residents, trips to soup kitchens in the Chicago area, and on-going outreach efforts to shelters in our community.
