Nellie Stokes Elementary offers a wide array of exemplary programs to support and compliment our student population. Student creativity is showcased through our Tier I Enrichment program, chorus, band, and WNHS morning news crew. Academic excellence is supported by our Odyssey of the Mind competition, a summer reading book drop, academic informational events, and our newly revamped Gifted Education and Enrichment Program. The importance of community is taught through the various activities of our Student Council, including annual donations to the SPCA and drives to support our armed forces. Family events, particularly our Father-Daughter Dance, generate much excitement and create lifelong memories. Our counselor, in conjunction with the Food Bank of Delaware, provides resources for our community members who may be in need.
