Mission:

The mission of New Braunfels Christian Academy is to glorify God by partnering with parents within a Christ-centered community to instill a biblical worldview in students by educating, equipping, and encouraging in faith, excellence, and service.

About Us:

In 1981, a group of parents seeking an alternative to public education founded New Braunfels Christian Academy as a co-educational, college-preparatory, and non-denominational Christian day school. The goal was and remains the moral, intellectual, and physical development of students in a stimulating and nurturing environment for the glory of God.

What began with 30 pre-school, kindergarten, and first grade students in a rented house at 576 Comal Street is today a complete private Christian school with more than 350 students enrolled in grades Pre-K through 12 on two campuses. With an enduring commitment to the Christian family, the Christian Academy serves the local community by teaching and guiding children to worship God and respect the authority of His Word. We emphasize parental authority and expect students to respect others as we endeavor to build Christian character.

The Christian Academy provides biblical teaching and values, problem solving skills, and academic continuity throughout a young person’s formative years. Our curriculum is designed to engage students in the learning process, build relationships, and achieve academic excellence through Kingdom education. We employ a phonetic-based reading program, distinctly Christian social studies and science curricula, competitive athletic programs, a range of fine arts courses, and community service projects to provide a well-rounded student life experience.

Our students consistently achieve exceptional test scores above state and national averages and acceptances to impressive colleges of their choice. Moreover, the 35 students who graduated in 2012 were awarded over 1.38 million dollars in scholarship offers; the 24 graduates in 2013 were awarded 1.18 million dollars in scholarship offers; and in 2014 our 23 graduates were awarded 3.1 million dollars in scholarship offers. Since our inception, the Christian Academy has graduated approximately 350 students and our alumni are involved in all aspects of ministry, business, government, and education.

The Christian Academy's purpose is one of discipleship for our students in partnership with their parents. Thus, we are open to anyone interested in securing a Christian education. The Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed or national/ethnic origin; however, we do reserve the right to select students on the basis of academic performance, religious commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with school administration and to abide by its policies.
