New Terra Farm
At New Terra Farms, my three sons and I practice responsible agriculture and to us that means being good stewards to the land, animals, plants and people that support our farm. We are about 45 minutes from uptown Charlotte.

Our gardens are fed using vegetable/vegetation compost, vermiculture, leaf mulch and cover crops. We are growing over 30 varieties of produce and enjoy growing heirlooms from around the world.

Much of our livestock is heritage breed; those animals at risk of extinction. We also have first generation cross-breed laying hens to be sure we have plenty of eggs for the market. Our poultry free range on grass pastures, hunt for interesting bugs in the woods, have local grains and fresh water and are provided with housing safe from predators every night.
