About Us

New Town UMC was founded in 1999 as a Spirit-filled, evangelical congregation to serve the Williamsburg area in mission for God's Kingdom. Located in the heart of the New Town area of Williamsburg, we are a community that seeks to share and demonstrate the Good News of Jesus Christ locally and around the world.

Our purpose statement is to "Love God, Love Others and Share Christ with the World," and everything we do as a church is centered around that purpose. Whether through Sunday morning worship, being involved in a small group, or serving our community with the Gospel, we hope that you will feel our welcome as we share life together!
