Newburgh Symphonic Chorale

Mission:

We are GNSO.

We believe communities are enriched by the power of live orchestral music.

We provide a place where people from all backgrounds can come together and hear a high quality orchestra made up of members from their own neighborhoods.

We promote a broader understanding of different cultures and histories through the exploration of orchestral master works, both old and new.

We strive to make these performances available and affordable to everyone.

And that’s why we’re here.

About Us:

The Newburgh Symphonic Chorale, comprised of 30-35 volunteer singers, was created fifteen years ago by the GNSO. With concerts typically scheduled in the spring and fall, the group sings both a cappella and with accompaniment.

Director Peter Sipple extends an invitation to all area singers to join the GNSO’s fine community choral organization. Weekly rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, from 7 – 9 pm, at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Newburgh, when the chorus is active (from autumn through spring).
