Our Mission: The mission of the North Bergen School District is to provide each student a diverse education in a safe supportive environment that promotes opportunities for all students to function politically, economically and socially in a democratic society. The Board of Education joins the parents and the community to challenge each student to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to function as responsible citizens.

The Board expectation is that all students achieves the new jersey core curriculum content standard at all grade levels. Learning experies needs to be rigorous and relevant. To that end the Board will endeavor to employ Highly Qualified, well prepared staff, with a wide range of abilities.
