Northeast Dubois County School Corporation is located in the northeast corner of Dubois County in southwestern Indiana. The school corporation serves the communities of Celestine, Crystal, Cuzco, Dubois, Haysville, and Hillham. Our corporation is a rural farming community, which is primarily involved with the poultry industry. We have one high school, grades 9-12, one middle school, grades 5-8, and one elementary school, grades K-4 which are located in the town of Dubois. We also have an elementary school, grades K-4, located in the town of Celestine. Our overall corporation enrollment for the 2006-2007 school year is 936. We have a total certified staff of 52.5, giving us a 17.8 to 1 student-to-staff ratio for the corporation. Our schools have done very well with the ISTEP testing program recording a Four Star rating 41 times in the past twelve years. Our high school is accredited through North Central and we are currently investigating a corporation-wide accreditation through this renowned organization. As you can tell we are very proud of our schools and their accomplishments.
