Northeastern CT Art Guild

About

The Northeastern Connecticut Art Guild (NECTAG) was founded in 1985 as a non-profit corporation. The guild is dedicated to fostering the artistic growth of its members. It strives to further the artistic understanding and appreciation of art throughout the communities of Northeast Connecticut.

Membership is open to anyone 18 years or older interested in visual arts. The guild meets seven times during the year (March, April, May, June, September, October and November) on the first Thursday of the month at the Audubon Center in Pomfret Center, Connecticut.

Member benefits include participation in guild sponsored exhibits at local venues, visits to artist studios, workshops, and demonstrations. There is encouragement, the sharing of ideas, inspiration and learning tools. There are artists working in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor, pastel, fiber art, colored pencil, pen & ink, sculpture, acrylic, mixed media, stained glass, photography, and graphite.
