The Notre Dame Education Center is a nonprofit community-based organization whose primary goal is to educate low-income, under-educated adults in Lawrence, MA in order to empower them to improve their lives and that of their families.

Nursing Assistant Program (NAP)- For individuals seeking to become home health aides and/or pass the state test to become certified assistants in nursing homes or hospitals.

ESOL-For Adults seeking to learn English for Speakers of Other Languages, includes classes and a self-paced computer program.

Immigration Consultation -For adults to learn where to go with problems and to apply for citizenship by filling out N400's (by appt)

Citizenship Tutoring/Classes-For adults to learn English and Civics in preparation for becoming citizens.

Computer Courses and Training- For ESOL students or members of the wider community that want to learn Word and other computer programs; we offer these in Spanish and English.

Spanish Language Classes- For adults seeking to learn Spanish for Speakers of Other Languages.

Learning English at a Distance (LEAD)- For intermediate ESOL Students who are unable to attend classes, but can work on an interactive, self-paced, online computer program on their own to improve reading, speaking, listening and writing skills.

GED Preparation -For adults who wish to prepare to take GED exams; we offer a self-paced, interactive computer generated program.
