We are a not for profit volunteer organization. We were started in 1970 by a group of environmentalist/ birders to form a Chapter of the National Audubon Society. We were incorporated in May of 1974 under New York State law. We focus on birds primarily but want to foster an appreciation of all the aspects of the environment.
