Mission Statement

The mission of Orinda Academy is to help each student discover a love of higher learning; build a set of personal, ethical values, develop a respect for the natural environment, and foster an appreciation for the diversity of our multi-cultural world. A vital part of this endeavor includes engendering a healthy lifestyle, critical thinking skills, a cooperative learning environment, and a sense of academic and personal responsibility in all members of our school community. We assist each student to reach his or her full potential as a successful, confident, self-reliant individual, prepared for the academic rigor of a university education. Orinda Academy believes three factors contribute to the success of Orinda Academy graduates--a challenging and engaging curriculum, a nurturing school environment, and regular communication among parents, students, and teachers.
