History
Immediately after the passage of an April 1999 voter referendum, an addition to the Pittsville School including an auditorium was constructed.
The non-profit organization, Pittsville Area Foundation for the Arts, was incorporated in May 2000 for the purpose of scheduling, hosting, and coordinating various events at the facility.
PAFA's first major project was the purchasing of a baby grand piano, dedicated on October 12, 2002.
Community volunteers continue to combine efforts to bring various performing arts to the Pittsville School Auditorium. PAFA awards an annual scholarship to a qualified senior at Pittsville High School.
