Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce is to promote continuous improvement of commerce in Plainfield by taking leadership in community development through actively supporting and promoting social, economic, cultural, and educational activities.
Our Long Range Goals:
Promote businesses and community.
The History of the Chamber:
The Plainfield Chamber of Commerce was established in 1967 to promote commerce in the community. In 1992, the chamber was restructured and joined with the town government to lead the economic development efforts by hiring the first full time director. Today, the chamber director and staff continue to provide these services to the membership. We are located at 210 West Main Street next door to the Town Hall.
