About Us :

Plantersville Middle School consists of Grades 5 - 8. The school is located on Highway 6, east of the town of Plantersville.

A building and renovation program was completed in 1988. All original buildings have been renovated and air-conditioned to provide students with an up-to-date learning environment.  The school has been fully wired for internet connectivity and each classroom has at least one computer.  In 1994, six new classrooms were opened for student use, and in 1998 two new Tech Prep laboratories for Career Discovery and Computer Discovery were opened for the Plantersville and Verona seventh and eighth grade students.  A new cafeteria opened in fall, 2001.

Students in the middle grades not only take the core subjects of language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and discovery; but they have art, athletics, learning strategies, and music.

In 2005 Plantersville School became a middle school instead of K-8. Plantersville and Verona School merged and elementary students attend Verona and middle students attend Plantersville.

A new athletic room and football field bleachers were added to the campus in 2005 to serve the increased number of students and parents.  Several renovations are being made to the classrooms and campus for the 2006 - 2007 school year.
