Churches are born in the heart and mind of God. In East Tennessee, we are doubly blessed with a rich heritage while living among beautiful mountains and valleys.

For over 150 years, Pleasant View Baptist Church has ministered faithfully where God has planted her. We are situated by grace and geography in the haven of the five rivers, and are within a two mile drive of West Andrew Johnson Highway. Today the church maintains its heritage of strong and friendly fellowship and a heart for those who live around her.

We believe that the Word of God is the strength of the Church.

We believe that ministry is the genuine expression of the love of God through its worship, to bring people to Christ through His Word, and to grow people in grace and knowledge to be Christ-like in every expression of their lives.
