Pullman Memorial Universalist Church

10 East Park Street
585-589-7181

Pullman Memorial Universalist Church has a rich and lengthy history, having been founded over 100 years ago, in 1891.

Today's congregation represents a diverse cross section of western New York state's population. Current members include life-long UUs as well as recent "converts," politically leaning liberals and conservatives, straights and gays, older and younger ages. Because PMUC is a non-creedal church, members may hold a variety of faith beliefs, ranging from Christianity to nature-centered to agnosticism and atheism. At PMUC we have found that celebrating our differences makes us stronger and happier than allowing them to divide us. We take close to heart the words of James Vila Blake...

Love is the spirit of this church,
and service is its law.
This is our great covenant:
To dwell together in peace,
to seek the truth in love,
and to help one another.
