The society is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes. We promote both interest and knowledge of the history, cultivation and uses of herbs. Our founders in 1984 funded and created the beautiful herb garden located at the Quail Hollow Stark Park. Our members now maintain the herb garden and continue to engage the community in the benefits of herbs through educational programs, fun nature crafting and a variety of earth wise activities.
