Mission Statement :
“To promote Racine County as an attractive destination to all publics by aggressively marketing the area’s hospitality, facilities and attractions to create a positive economic impact on Racine County and enhance the area’s quality of life.”

The Racine County CVB focuses on its marketing through various efforts by advertising in print, television, radio and internet. It is also responsible for attracting and developing events to Racine County like: The Spirit of Racine Triathlon, EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament, Big Fish Bash (formerly known as Salmon-A-Rama), Great Lakes Brew Fest, Great Midwest Dragon Boat Festival, Hot Rod Power Tour 2007, the Harley Owners Group State Rally 2007, and many more.

The staff at the Racine County CVB helps arrange group tours, meetings, and conferences for organizations and dignitaries that choose Racine County as its destination.

The Racine County CVB also promotes local events and attractions to visitors already in the area through its two Visitor Centers — one at the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway 20, and one at 413 Main Street in downtown Racine — at a kiosk at Racine’s Festival Park, through a weekly radio broadcast on AM 1400 WRJN, and on a traveler’s information radio station at AM 1700. We are funded through a portion of the 8% room tax that is collected from overnight facilities in the City of Racine, the Villages of Caledonia, Mount Pleasant and Waterford, and the Town of Yorkville.
