Relay For Life Committee

Relay For Life brings people together to celebrate those who have beat cancer, remember those lost to the disease and an opportunity to fight back.

Chair or co-chair - recruit members of community to manage aspects of the event.

Sponsorship chair - putting together sponsorship proposals and securing sponsorship or underwriting donations from local companies.

Team Development chair - find teams to participate.

Accounting/Registration chairs - oversee the registration of participants and the tabulating of money.

Survivorship chair - recruitment of cancer survivors and caregivers to walk or participate in the first lap of the Relay and to help celebrate survivorship during the event.

Logistics chair - makes the arrangements for the facility and ensures that materials are provided for the event.
