RESULTS Little Rock

So many of us want to make a difference, but don't know where to start, or think we don't have the necessary skills. RESULTS reminds us that we have a voice and we can use it for effective, systemic change.

Thirty years ago, the National Academy of Sciences reported that each year, the world produces enough food and resources to feed every single person on the planet.  And yet each year, millions of children die from starvation. What they concluded was that it simply was not a lack of resources it's a lack of priority. RESULTS was born on this very idea: we want the elimination of hunger and poverty to become policy priorities and we envision a world where citizens actively voice their concerns to their elected officials and thereby choose the policies and priorities of their governments.

We'd like to see a re-prioritization of our foreign aid: one that prioritizes education and access to quality health care over military aid.  One that features sustainable development, strategically proven solutions, and compassion.

If you'd like to learn how to approach your members of Congress effectively on these issues, or already have advocacy experience and are looking for a group to team up with, join our next meeting and be part of a movement that will send millions of kids to school, some for the very first time in their lives.
