The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) meets compelling needs in Denton County by recruiting and placing adults 55 plus within the following focus areas: Disaster Services, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environmental Stewardship, Healthy Futures and other Community Priorities based on assessed needs.

Chisholm Trail RSVP, Inc. also hosts an AmeriCorps VISTA program.The mission of AmeriCorps VISTA is to start, strengthen, or expand programs, systems or services that help people move out of poverty. To put it simply, AmeriCorps VISTA is a domestic Peace Corps. AmeriCorps VISTA has been helping build communities across America for the last 50 years and continues to assist in the alleviation of poverty issues.
