The goal of Habitat in Rocky Mount is to strive towards eliminating sub-standard housing, to provide home-ownership to families who cannot qualify under normal requirements. Funds are raised locally and houses are built with volunteer labor. Habitat also operates a ReStore where gently used furniture, building products and other items are sold. All items in the store are donated and the proceeds help build houses. The public is welcome to shop in the ReStore.
