The Roebling School and it's programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of children in Kindergarten through Grade 3. The teaching staff is dedicated to providing academic and personal growth opportunities for students and everyone is committed to helping children have meaningful learning and social experiences. Parents are encouraged and welcomed to participate in all aspects of the Roebling School. Frequent communication between parents, administrators, counselors and teachers is considered a vital component in the success of students.

The instructional programs at the Roebling School are current and reflect innovative teaching methods. All children receive direct instruction in curriculum approved by the Board of Education including: reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, English, spelling and handwriting. In addition all students are instructed in art, music, library, physical education and health. Students in grades 2 and 3 also receive computer instruction within the school's computer lab. Speech, English as a Second Language and Basic Skills mathematics, writing and reading are offered to children who require extra help. For those children with special talents and abilities in third grade, the school offers instrumental music instruction and gifted/talented program.
