We provide a weekly tote bag full of high quality, fresh, cleaned produce for 26 weeks beginning in May and ending in October. Crops to be planted in 2009 include greens, herbs, peas, carrots, beets, beans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, summer and winter squash, potatoes, onions, leeks, garlic, and more. The "Grazer " share costs $500 and feeds 2-3 adults, and the "Herbivore" share costs $975 and feeds 4-6 adults. Flower shares can be purchased independently or added to a veggie share for $120, and consist of one bouquet per week for twelve weeks. rops are harvested, cleaned and meted out by the farmer, and the members collect their bags of produce at the farm or at one of the drop sites in Dolores or Cortez.

We encourage local consumption of local production, and appreciate the CSA as a way to maximize that connection. We hope all of our members (and friends!) will gain a better understanding of organic food production as well as the intricacies of sustainable and non-GMO crop production by participating in our CSA. Rude Becky's Flower Farm is a small non-certified organic farm specializing in vegetable and flower production for local markets, and in educating future growers through our apprenticeship/internship program (see below). We firmly believe in the local consumption of local production, as well as organic methods in all areas of cultivation, harvest and processing. We are located in the Four Corners region on the Colorado Plateau, at an altitude of 7,000 feet.

We enjoy beautiful views of the north wall of Mesa Verde. The growing season techinically lasts only 120 days, but with creative use of cold frame greenhouses and row covers we are able to maximize our harvest season to six months.
