About us

Saint Peter's Church was founded by Cardinal John A. Parker Jr. in August of 2002 as a parish of the Ancient Apostolic Communion, a denomination tracing its roots all the way back to the worship of the Apostles. As an Apostolic Church, Saint Peter's adheres to the traditions of the Apostles and Early Church Fathers, using a liturgy created by the church from many of the oldest forms of orthodox and catholic liturgies. Our creed is one of consistency with the creeds of most of Christianity but most especially of the early church fathers. Our mission is to praise and glorify God and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ by spreading His gospel in the setting of a liturgical church.

Our worship is liturgical in nature, and finds its earliest roots in the traditions begun by the Apostles. Most people with a liturgical background (Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Episcopal, Lutheran or Methodist) will feel comfortable in our liturgies. They carry the proof of history and are solely to the Glorification of God the Father in remembrance of the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist every Sunday at 11:00 A.M.
