History :
The Elks Lodge took over the Range in 1965. Bob Simpson was Exalted Ruler; the Range was under the management of Star Boyce, Chairman for the Lodge. He was assisted by Carl Ozbirn and Bud Netterfield.

The Lodge had many successful meets, and was represented by the following shooters: Carl Ozbirn, J.R. Loynd, Bud Netterfield, Jo Chilton, and Max Berg.

They have annual shoots, such as Thanksgiving turkey and ham shoots, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, and Valentine's Day. Also work with other organizations in the city. Walt Liebig came into the Lodge in 1971 and took over the running of things. Since then, a new clubhouse, dedicated in 1972; they worked with the city fathers and the Lodge.
