The Scranton Fire Protection District is located in the center of the Town of Hamburg and is approximately 6 square miles in area. Our district contains a mixture of residential and commercial buildings including several apartment complexes, adult retirement homes, motels/inns, and shopping plazas. We also provide Fire, Rescue, and EMS to approximately 16 miles of the NYS Thruway from South Park Ave. to the 18 Mile Creek Bridge and to a portion of the Erie Railroad. Our district is split into two (2) response zones that are separated by the Thruway.
