Heather Lawrence and Jayne Kraus organized the first upscale arts and C rafts show at the Oakmont Country Cub in Corinth TX. This show, entitled Christmas in Sept. Shopping extravaganza, drew customers from all over the Dallas Fort Worth area. What began as a way for local women-home based businesses to show their hand-crafted items, quickly became one of the highest quality most comfortable and fun shopping experience around, customers were pampered and vendors were over whelmed by the customer response to products.

Through out the one day show the question kept arising over and over: "When is your next show?" It was obvious that the customers loved the atmosphere and the quality products and vendors loved the profits they were taking home! So with that - a new era of high quality shows was born.

Today, Seasons Events has grown, added more shows each year and moved to larger facilities with lots of free parking. Heather's parents, Ed and Earline Walters have invested in the company and retain the same high quality "Heart of Texas Arts and Crafts Shows" that vendors and customers are accustomed to. Heather is still active and involved with all details of the shows.
