Mission Statement:

The Town of Selma Parks and Recreation Department recognizes that recreation is valuable part of life and it seeks to promote enjoyable, constructive leisure and recreational activities that will meet the needs of the surrounding community it serves.  The commitment to health education, entertainment, and high morality will be emphasized through all activities and programs conducted or sponsored by the Recreation Department.  The Recreation Department will strive to maintain activities that are beneficial to current population needs and create programs that are considered appropriate to the changing needs of the area in and around Selma.
