Fire Company has been serving the residents of Lower Saucon Township since 1926 and runs in excess of 295 emergency calls per year.

We take pride in the quality of our apparatus and personnel, but we take greater pride in serving our community. We are your fire station!

It is our mission to give back to the quality of life of the citizens and visitors of Lower Saucon Township and its neighboring communities through the protection of lives, property, and the environment.

In 1938, the Se-Wy-Co Fire Company Social Club was opened in the truck room (the old grange hall). During events, the fire truck was moved to a local garage. The Fire Police branch of the department was also established that year.

Truck bays were added to the building in 1948, the first of many additions to the fire station. In 1949, it was decided to provide ambulance service to “the people living in our territory as defined by our fire district.”

On March 22, 1950, R.H. Leidich, Secretary of the fire company, proudly stated that,“…we operate three pumpers, one of which is primarily equipped with such implements as are required for brush or forest fires, the other two being designed for our particular rural firefighting, carrying all the necessary equipment as well as a total of 600 gallons of water. These two pieces are of the high-pressure fog type. We also operate a modern ambulance, fully equipped and manned with a first-aid crew of 18 men….”
