- Dramatically increase the achievement of middle school students
- Implement the modified Program Prioritization Process
- Celebrate completion the referendum-funded building projects and focus on improving elementary facilities
- Initiate a district-wide marketing plan for increasing recruitment and retention of students
- Expand opportunities to meet students' needs through charter schools and new initiatives
