Wool CSA is for 4 skeins of our 3-ply, worsted weight, cottage mill spun yarn. Yarn is generally a blend of the fleeces of two animals, carefully selected by me to compliment each other. You will receive our quarterly e-mail farm newsletter with pictures from the farm and flock, seasonal updates, and history of our flock. When your spun yarn is shipped in the fall/winter of 2011 (depending on the turn around time at the mill) you will receive pictures and information about the sheep whose fleeces make up your yarn.

May be customized with the substitution or addition of wool roving for handspinners.

SheerLark Farm offers naturally raised, grass fed, chevon (young goat meat) and heritage cross lamb for the consumer concerned with the health of their family and the environment. All animals are raised personally by us here on our family farm. We care for these animals intimately from the time of their birth through processing into wholesome and nourishing food for your family. The goat kids and lambs nurse the sweet milk of their mothers, graze the lush pastures of north eastern Alabama and enjoy supplements of locally grown and milled grains. We use no synthetic pesticides or herbicides on our farm and no hormones or antibiotics are ever used in our feeds. Meats are processed by a local, family owned and operated, USDA inspected facility and are vacuum packaged and flash frozen to retain freshness and flavor.
