Mission

Engage, promote and strengthen Texoma businesses and our community.

Vision

Sherman Chamber of Commerce is the resource for a diverse and prosperous business community.

The Sherman Chamber of Commerce is very active in our local city, county and state government as we represent our membership in matters that impact their business. The chamber is active with the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Sherman Independent School District, Downtown Sherman and Sherman Economic Development Corporation as we promote our community and all that we have to offer to families and new business.

The Sherman Chamber of Commerce provides programs to help business grow through Leadership Sherman, the North Texas Young Professionals, the Ambassadors and our Texoma Weekly Circle networking group. Leadership Sherman offers chamber members and their employees the opportunity to learn more about the local government, industry and other entities in our community. The leadership group receives mentoring from local leaders that help them with their personal leadership skills. The North Texas Young Professionals help our local charities with through their involvement with organizations like the North Texas Youth Connection and through their quarterly Pillars Forum of luncheons featuring local community leaders. The Ambassador program allows local members to network with new and existing business through activities like our ribbon cuttings, mix and mingles, member of the month and our Welcome Wagon. These volunteers meet and greet new and existing business in our community as they help promote their business. The Texoma Weekly Circle networking breakfast is held every Tuesday morning and provides a networking opportunity for anyone that wants to join as we have fun, get to know one another and find new business partners in our community. This weekly networking breakfast is a great way to start your week and is open to anyone as a visitor.
