Southern Westchester League of Women Voters

The League of Women Voters (LWV) is a trusted, nonpartisan political organization.  The LWV is where hands-on work to safeguard democracy leads to civic improvement.  While we never endorse a candidate, we are directly involved in shaping the important issues to keep our community strong. The League works to educate voters, increase understanding and debate of major public policy issues and influence policy through education and advocacy.

Join the Southern Westchester LWV and be directly involved in shaping the important issues to keep our community strong, safe and vibrant.  As a Southern Westchester LWV member, you will be a part of an organization where smart, active leaders work to create change in their communities.

Among the Southern Westchester LWV activities include informing the public:

·         We hold public forums and candidate debates.

·         Publish free voter guides.

·         Publicize and advocate a variety of issues with our elected officials.

·         Provide online voter information with WWW.VOTE411.ORG.
