For many years the members of St. John’s Lutheran Church dreamed about providing quality Christian education to families in the Dover community. This dream was first realized when, in 1989, the Early Learning Center was opened to provide a carefully constructed pre-school and day care program with an emphasis on sharing the Gospel. This dream was further realized when, in the year 2000, our elementary school was opened here on Walker Road.
