St. Luke's Episcopal Church

Massachusetts Avenue and Grant Street
201-384-0706

Our faith community is an eclectic, happy mix of people with differing backgrounds and perspectives, united together in a common love of God and a love for our neighbors. Chances are, there's someone like you at St. Luke's. We are single, married with kids, divorced, remarried, empty nesters, widowed, old, young, you name it. The People of St. Luke's reflect all sorts of bacckgrounds, abilities, and beliefs, just like any large family.

And our welcome in God's name doesn't end when you are greeted at our front door. Since St. Luke's is God's house, not ours, all persons are welcome to receive the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Holy Baptism at St. Luke's, not just Episcopalians.

You'll find that St. Luke's is a place where you really matter because you matter to God.

We know that visiting and worshipping in a new place can be a little daunting, so feel free to ask for help or guidance about what book to use or where to go.

So feel free to simply to blend in, to check things out, and to get to know us at your own pace. We are a small and freindly bunch here at St. Luke's. When you are ready to get connected with our many ministries and programs, we are always delighted to help you find your way. We invite you to participate in whatever level makes you comfortable!

Whether you're just starting to ask questions about God, or you're a committed Christian who wants to delve deeper into a relationship with Christ, or a doubter trying to get things straightened out for sure in your own mind, there's a place for you at Saint Luke's.

We are a small church, seeking to reach out and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people in the community around us. We seek to offer inspiring worship, close-knit friendships, a community of constant prayer, and commited to reaching out to the poor and the outcast.
