Stafford Town Hall 8903 Route 237
585-343-6699

The new Museum behind the Town Hall, was officially dedicated on December 19, 2004. Through the winter months, volunteers worked to finish setting up displays of written history, pictures, and artifacts pertaining to the early history of Stafford. Now the museum is opened to all guests from May through October on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and by appointment: (585) 343-9424. Prescheduled group tours are also available. The museum is completely handicapped accessible.

On display are early farm implements, household furnishings, one room school house records, quilts, games, and of course Morganville pottery. The Stafford Museum of History provides a look into the early settlement of Western New York. A three-media display of written history, pictures and artifacts tells the history of farming, industries, and recreation in a typical rural community at the time the Erie Canal opened this area for settlers.
