START II is a no-kill animal rescue organization.  In addition to our Englewood shelter location, we adopt cats from the PetSmart Nanuet Adoption Center. on Rt. 59 in Nanuet.  We are looking for volunteers to assist us weekdays mid-morning to clean cages and socialize our cats to help prepare them for adoptions into new and caring homes. If you have a caring heart and can devote 2 hrs once a week, and are looking to make a difference, we would love to have you join us!
