The Teaneck Stingrays provide opportunities for kids to play competitive soccer year-round, through participation in regional soccer leagues and tournaments. Stingrays fields boys and girls youth (ages 8 through 19) travelling teams. The Stingrays club is one of over 70 that compete through the Northern Counties Soccer Association, and is also affiliated with the New Jersey State Youth Soccer Association.
There are three seasons: fall, winter and spring - teams typically play 20 – 30 games in a year. In the fall, girls' teams play games on Sundays, and boys' on Saturdays. Tryouts for the 2006-2007 season have been held, but send us an email if you are interested in trying out for a team. All Teaneck Stingrays coaches must have a NJYSA F license or better for coaching. We also engage professional trainers from the NY Red Bulls, World Class Soccer, Bergen County Soccer Academy and others, matching the appropriate training program to the team and player development level. Our goal is to enable our players to develop their game and take it to the next level. Our players, trainers, coaches and team managers are passionate about "The Beautiful Game."
