OUR MISSION:

Since opening as a youth center in 2010, the ROCK has expanded and also serves as a multi-generational community center. We provide a safe, values centric family environment for social interaction, education, character development, leisure activities and emergency resources in time of need. The ROCK strives to make a positive influence in the lives of all who enter.

ABOUT US:

The ROCK is a 501c3 non-profit corporation funded by caring individuals, local, businesses, foundations, grants, and fundraising and is staffed by dedicated volunteers. The Youth Center first opened its doors in January 2010 and currently has over 150 registered members. The ROCK is for 6th-12th graders and programs include educational workshops, excursions, drop-in recreation, arts and crafts, community service, dances, game tournaments, concerts as well as lots of other great special events.

We are in our fifth year of collaborating with the G.T. County Senior Center Network and provide our facility to house senior citizen programming during the day on Wednesdays and Fridays. This has proven to be a wonderful asset for our seniors and benefits the ROCK as seniors volunteer to help with the afterschool youth program.
