Byromville is located in Dooly County, Georgia. Georgia Highways 230 and 90 intersect here. Byromville is about 120 miles south of Atlanta. Our population according to the 2000 census is 415. The major economic force in our community is agriculture.

Byromville is a great place to live. In some ways, it offers the best of both worlds. One can live here and enjoy all the benefits of small town living, but easily access major shopping and entertainment just an hour away in Macon or Albany. Atlanta is only a two hour drive. In 1903, the Atlanta & Birmingham Railroad was completed to Byromville. On August 19, 1905 the Town of Byromville was incorporated.
