Town of Cambria

4160 Upper Mountain road
716-433-7664

Established in 1808, the Town of Cambria once encompassed all of Niagara County and from that, twelve towns were subsequently formed. Cambria has a rich and distinguished past of which we can all be proud.

On March 11, 1808, the New York State Legislature enacted a law creating Niagara County and Cambria. Thus, what is now Niagara County was once the Town of Cambria, and the present Erie County was part of the original Niagara County.

The Town of Cambria is an interior town, west of the center of the county. Cambria is rich in agricultural land and its generally rural character reflects that.
