The Town of Ninety Six Tourism Department maintains the 96 Visitor Center, located in the Town Square on Hwy 34 (Main Street). The Visitor Center hours are M-Thurs 10-4 and Fri 10-12:30. The  96 Visitor Center 864-543-4820 offers free information about the area. Information pamphlets and cards, Tourism booklets, Rest Rooms, a small Exhibit Room, Geocaching Sheets, Handicapped access and parking, along with maps and directions are available.

The Tourism Department at 864-543-3396 also handles the SC Festival of Stars Independance Day Celebration and can provide information on the National Park Service Historic Ninety Six Battle Site, located on Hwy 248, Ninety Six, SC 29666.
