Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival
260 South Church Avenue

“A festival is the best time to hear chamber music.”

Only once a year - a dynamic array of chamber music’s best, performed by musicians from around the globe. Get your tickets now!

Highlights:

The award-winning Jasper String Quartet.

The seldom-heard String Quintet in C Major, in honor of Beethoven’s 250th.

A most unique feature, the inclusion of the pipa and percussion, rare at chamber events

The premiere of Four Inscapes on Sunday March 8th by Ross Edwards utilizes both the pipa and percussion, as does The Sound of a Voice composed by Philip Glass on Tuesday, March 3rd.

Every concert has at least one, and many two, known works by great composers. The traditional repertoire includes some great fare: Faure Violin Sonata, Smetana Quartet, Schubert Trout Quintet, Beethoven String Quintet, and Mendelssohn Quartet in D, and more.
