How USA works: USA acts as a "community union" of people who share the belief that union values of mutual aid, support, & solidarity, together with fair & local food will make for a more vibrant & healthy community. USA has been serving Eastern Maine since 2004. Members pick up a weekly share of a farm's vegetable harvest at an Eastern Maine location. Members pay for their shares at the beginning of the season or work at the farm. We provide opportunities to purchase other local foods like eggs, canned goods, and meats.

Picking up your share: You can pick up your weekly share at a designated site in Brewer, Bucksport, or Orono on Tuesdays between 5 - 7pm; at Happytown Farm in Orland anytime on Tuesdays,;or at the Ellsworth Farmers' Market on Mondays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.
