The UTY mission is to act as an advocate for change, to promote the education and welfare of our community's children, and improve the quality of life in our town of Yorktown. While keepingthose goals in mind, to strive to minimize school and town taxes within the boundaries of the Town of Yorktown.

We accomplish our mission by investigating school and town finances,collecting and disseminating information, and educating the public about the school and town budgets and their impact on taxes. We will work to support legislation directed towards our goals.
