Mission Statement:

Our mission at Verdi Elementary School is to promote excellence in learning and instruction, which empowers students to become productive, creative, and socially responsible individuals. Through the cooperative efforts of home, school, and community, we strive to instill responsibility, independence, and self-esteem in all our children. Verdi Elementary School is a small, rural school nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with less than 300 Kindergarten through 6th grade students. The students come from Verdi, Mogul, Mesa Park, Belli Ranch, and West 4th Street, including the Lakemont homes subdivision. This is a rapidly growing area, giving the school an excitingly diverse group of students
